How the D3VUR pilot works

These pilot terms describe how the service works today and are being finalised. Questions: [email protected].

What D3VUR does

D3VUR, Los Angeles, prepares your image or idea for embroidery, shows you the actual stitch preview, and passes approved jobs to independent embroidery workshops that D3VUR has approved. The workshop that accepts a job makes the item.

No payment is collected during the pilot

Quotes, platform fees and workshop amounts shown in the app are estimates. D3VUR does not take card details or payments during the pilot. How and when you pay for a job is agreed with the workshop in the job, before production starts.

See pilot fee estimates.

Your artwork

You must own the artwork you upload or have permission to use it, including any logos, characters or text. You keep your rights. You allow D3VUR and the assigned workshop to copy and convert it only to prepare, quote, proof and produce your job.

Workshops that have not been assigned your job see only a summary and a preview, never your original files or your identity.

Previews, stitch files and quality checks

Every stitch file is checked by D3VUR's automatic quality engine before it can reach a workshop, and some files are reviewed by a D3VUR specialist. The checks measure the machine file; they cannot certify fabric behaviour, thread tension or machine calibration.

That is why the workshop sends a production proof you approve before production, and colours and small details may vary slightly from a screen preview.

Workshops

Workshops are independent businesses. They set their own quotes and promised dates and are responsible for producing and shipping what they accept. D3VUR approves workshops, can suspend them, and can move a job that has not started to another workshop.

Problems with a job

Use “Something wrong?” on the job page. Open issues pause production until D3VUR records a resolution with both sides.

Automatic designs

“Start with an idea” generates artwork on D3VUR's own computers. Check any generated text or logos before you approve; do not use it for trademarks you do not own.

Changes

D3VUR may update these pilot terms; the date of the current version is shown on this page. Last updated: 28 September 2026.
